FD Design is a 25-year-old architectural practice entering its most ambitious phase. We are looking for architects, designers, and technical professionals who want more than a job — who want to work directly on serious projects, alongside the founders, from day one.
FD Design works across architecture, interiors, hospitality, industrial facilities, and large-format estates. You are not handed repetitive drafting work. You engage with actual design problems on live projects, alongside the founding architects, from your first week.
Ar. Raghu Sharma and Ar. Vaishali Sharma are both active practitioners, not administrators. The team that joins FD Design now works directly in the room where design decisions are made — not filtered through layers of hierarchy.
FD Design is in a deliberate growth and restructuring phase after 25 years. People who join now participate in shaping how the firm organises, grows, and positions itself for the next decade. That kind of exposure is rare at any career stage.
The Fourth Dimension — designing spaces through time, not just for the moment of completion. This is not a tagline. It shapes how every project is approached, how materials are chosen, and how every detail is resolved. If that kind of depth matters to you, you will find it here.
We hire across full-time, part-time, and project-based arrangements. What matters is the quality of your work and your commitment to seeing it through.
You will work across active projects in residential, hospitality, and industrial design — from concept development through construction documentation and site coordination. FD Design values architects who can think at every scale and take responsibility for outcomes, not just drawings.
A learning role with real responsibility. You will assist on live projects, contribute to design development, prepare drawings, and participate in site visits. Graduates who want to accelerate their understanding of how architecture is actually practiced — not just taught — will find this role formative.
FD Design's interior practice covers luxury residences, boutique hospitality, and experiential spaces. We are looking for a designer with a strong spatial sensibility, comfort with material selection and detailing, and the ability to carry a project from concept through execution. Trend-followers need not apply.
The person who makes sure what is drawn actually gets built — to the right standard, on the right timeline. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate with contractors and vendors, track quality, and report progress. FD Design's projects span residential, hospitality, and industrial — the role requires adaptability across environments.
Supporting site supervision across active construction projects. You will assist in quality checks, material inspections, contractor coordination, and progress documentation. A civil or structural engineering background with site exposure is preferred. Candidates who want to grow from site support toward site leadership will find a clear path here.
We engage structural engineers on a project basis across our residential, industrial, and large-format estate projects. If you have experience in RCC, steel, or PEB structures and want to associate with a design practice that takes structural coordination seriously — not as an afterthought — we would like to speak with you.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering across architectural and industrial projects. We work on projects where MEP integration is a design consideration, not a checkbox — particularly in hospitality and industrial facility work where technical systems must perform at a high level.
Senior professionals with experience in industrial manufacturing facility design, process engineering, GMP layouts, or related disciplines. FD Design is developing large-scale industrial projects and needs experienced minds who have done this before. This is a senior advisory association, not a support role.
A cross-functional role supporting the Principal Architects in the operational and strategic transformation of the firm. Building systems, defining verticals, tracking performance, and enabling the founders to focus on design and client leadership. Not a desk job. Not a back-office role. A rare opportunity to see how a serious design practice is built from the inside.
Leading the firm's media, content, and outreach presence. Site visits, project films, social media, newsletters, and eventually podcast production. The role requires someone who can observe, ask intelligent questions, and translate design work into compelling narrative — independently, with minimal direction.
FD Design is not a large firm where you disappear into a department. It is a mid-sized practice with a tight, experienced team — where each person carries genuine responsibility and each project reflects the full capability of whoever touches it.
The studio is based in Naraina Vihar, New Delhi. Projects take us across the city, to sites around North India, and occasionally further. The work is demanding and the environment is direct.
