FD Design is a New Delhi architectural practice established on 3rd July 2000 by Ar. Vaishali Sharma and Ar. Raghu Sharma. The firm is named for the Fourth Dimension — a design philosophy that treats time, movement, and human experience as structural elements of every project, not afterthoughts.

Across 26 years, the practice has worked at every scale: private luxury residences, destination hospitality, industrial campuses, experiential installations, and large-format strategic development. One standard throughout.

About the Practice

Two architects.
One conviction.
26 years.

FD Design was founded on the belief that space is not static. It is experienced through time, movement, and occupation — and it is in that experience that architecture either succeeds or fails.

Ar. Vaishali Sharma and Ar. Raghu Sharma trained at two of India's most respected architecture schools — Sir JJ College of Architecture, Mumbai and the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. They established the firm on 3rd July 2000 with a shared conviction that would become its name: the Fourth Dimension.

Across 26 years, that conviction has held across every project type the firm has taken on. The approach doesn't change with scale or typology. Context, client, site, and time are always the starting point.

Vaishali leads the studio's residential and interior design practice. She brings an exceptional sensitivity to the human dimension of space — how people move through their homes, seek privacy, gather, and experience light and material through daily life. She is the firm's lead on client relationships, guided by her conviction that the best design begins with listening.

Ar. Raghu Sharma

Co-Founder & Principal Architect

Raghu works simultaneously at the macro and micro scale — from master planning and development strategy to material selection and construction detailing. His current focus includes the firm's hospitality development consulting practice, advising landowners and investors on hospitality-led projects across North India's key tourism corridors.
